Alex Sutherland


Alex has been in recruitment for over 10 years and has built and developed businesses in both permanent and temporary recruitment. He has the accolade of being the youngest Director in both of the country’s largest independently owned recruitment firms. Alex joined the business in 2016 to head up the Sales & Marketing department, being responsible for the businesses strategic growth and the development of the brand. He is proud dad to Henry and also owns two dogs, Bruno, a Mastiff Great Dane cross who is scared of his own shadow and Tango, a Staffy Jack Russell cross who wants to fight the world, they are known as the real life Scooby and Scrappy Do!



Edward Bullen-Whatling

Finance Director

Having started his career in Wales, Edward moved to Birmingham in 2012 to study Professional Accountancy at BPP University. Since graduating in 2015, he has taken on accounting roles within the manufacturing and service industries, becoming a Chartered CIMA Accountant in August 2017. Edward joined Ezy as Finance Manager in April 2016 and quickly progressed to being made a director of the company in November 2017. In addition to his financial duties, Edward is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and provides assistance and support to the overall strategic direction of the business. In his free time, Edward enjoys football, being a keen Manchester United fan. He also enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends.



Laura Cotton

PA to the Directors

Since joining Ezy Solutions in January 2014, Laura has worked closely with the Directors assisting them to make best use of their time by organising their diaries, Laura undertakes a variety of administrative, clerical and managerial tasks and she enjoys working within a very friendly and fun team. Laura loves holidays with her family and enjoys socialising with friends – she also admits to being a bit of a shoe-aholic.



Jo Woodley

Group Finance Manager

Since joining Ezy Solutions in March 2015, Jo has helped improve the organisation of the company’s internal accounts.  Jo absolutely loves her job and the people she works with. Her favourite thing in the world (besides her children) is shopping!



Samm Parker

Payroll Supervisor

Samm started her accounting career with an apprenticeship at 16, where she obtained her AAT Accounting Qualification after working extremely hard to get great results. She then began working with Ezy Solutions in July 2014 as a member of the Payroll Administration team. She loves Japanese and American cars, especially rear-wheel drive, and her dream car is a 1969 Dodge Charger!



Jennifer Clay

Marketing Manager

Jennifer has been in Marketing for over 10 years working in a range of industries from Financial Services, IT and Construction. Jennifer Joined Ezy Solutions in November 2017 to support the development of new and existing brands. Outside of work Jennifer spends her time with her children, travelling and attending lots of exciting events.



Glyn Rowley

Senior Business Development Manager

Glyn’s career spans 20 years in recruitment from trainee to Compliance Manager prior to joining Ezy Solutions in February 2016. Commencing as Senior Account Manager, Glyn developed and supported existing clients with various solutions supplied by Ezy taking a natural move to Business Development in May 2017. Outside work Glyn carries out voluntary work with a local cycling club coaching youngsters in Cycle Speedway.



Phill Yetzes

Account Manager

Phill comes from a career in education and coaching having spent a number of years as a Modern Languages teacher and performance hockey coach. Despite an industry change, he brings with him a wealth of experience in training, development and people management having held various roles in sports development including heading up the Athlete Services team at the London 2012 Olympics. Phill joined Ezy Solutions in October 2017 to alleviate the mounting pressure placed on the sales team as they balanced their current accounts with new business acquisition. Shortly after joining, Phill’s role grew to encompass the management of the Customer Service and Compliance teams as he looked to increase efficiency and streamline the relationships between Ezy and it’s clients through a period of rapid growth. He is now also overseeing the design and delivery of the company’s training programmes. In his spare time , Phill enjoys spending time with his young family and is still involved in hockey as Head Coach of the English Universities Women’s team.



Callum Render

Group Financial Accountant

Callum joined Ezy Solutions in February 2016 and since then has enjoyed working alongside a young, hardworking, yet fun and active team. After graduating from Liverpool and going travelling for a long stint, he has loved working at Ezy who have helped develop the start of his career. Outside of work he loves playing sport (mainly rugby and cricket) and keeping fit, as well as socialising and seeing the world.



Adam Patrick

Accounts Assistant

Adam joined Ezy Solutions in July 2016. He is in the process of completing his AAT Acounting qualification, and is looking forward to learning and progressing with a highly motivated team beside him. He enjoys competing in various sports such as crown green bowls and football. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.



Nicola Martin

Office Administrator

Nicola joined Ezy Solutions in September 2015, and carries out clerical duties in order to support the business and help things run smoothly. She enjoys the busy and friendly environment of the office whilst developing a lot of skills and learning new ones too. In her spare time she loves relaxing in the garden and has recently taken a couple of new hobbies up, including learning to play the piano and going to the gym!



Jenna Lawson

Compliance Officer

Jenna comes from a varied back ground working in the Legal Sector as well as for Local Government Agencies for the past 7 years. Jenna joined Ezy Solutions in October 2017 in the role of Compliance Officer, supporting agencies to ensure they meet all regulatory requirements to demonstrate compliance. Jenna spends her free time travelling back to Yorkshire to spend time with Family and Friends.



Chynnah Vassall

Senior Payroll Administrator

Chynnah joined Ezy Solutions in July 2014, she has since dedicated herself to making sure that all the client’s needs are met, such as making sure employees get their wages on time and making the client journey more successful. Chynnah’s recent trip to Paris has influenced her to travel more often, she would one day like to travel to China and learn more about the culture.

Kaycee worked in a recruitment agency since leaving school for 2 years, then went onto payroll in the same company for a year before coming to Ezy Solutions. Kaycee joined Ezy Solutions in September 2017 as a payroll administrator working along side a payroll team ensuring workers are paid on time and correctly. Outside of work, Kaycee loves to socialise with friends and family and also likes to travel a lot.



Syed Hussain

Payroll Administrator

Syed has worked in various administrator roles and as a Payroll Officer for a recruitment company for 3 years before joining Ezy Solutions in December 2017. Syed is enjoying learning about his role at Ezy Solutions, solving queries and keeping our clients happy! Outside of work, Syed is currently undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Classical Arabic and Islamic Studies, as well as being an Assisting Manager for a local grassroots organisation.
